Tour Guidelines
Assumption of Risks
Please be aware that participating in tours conducted in a natural environment involves certain inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to, risks associated with physical activities, wildlife encounters, or environmental conditions. Such risks may result in personal injury, property loss or damage, or, in extreme cases, death.
Compliances
Participants are required to follow all safety instructions provided by the guide and to respect local customs, culture, and regulations. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of participation in the tour without refund.
In Case of Bad Weather
Tours will generally proceed in light rain. However, if weather or road conditions pose a safety risk or significantly affect the quality of the tour—such as heavy rain, strong winds, or extended traffic delays—the tour may be cancelled at our discretion.
In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged, and participants will be notified as soon as possible.
Release of Liability
Amami Private Tour Tabidori (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and its affiliated service providers shall not be held liable for any physical or mental injury, property loss or damage, or any other incident arising from the participant’s own actions, negligence, or circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.
Medical Assistance
In the event of an injury or medical emergency, our guides are equipped to provide basic first aid. Please note, however, that access to professional medical facilities may be limited in some areas. Participants are strongly advised to have adequate travel and medical insurance coverage.
Travel Insurance
The Domestic Travel Accident Insurance maintained by the Company may not fully cover all expenses related to personal injury, death, or property loss/damage. We strongly recommend that participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance to ensure sufficient coverage for medical costs, evacuation, and property protection.
Collection, Use, and Sharing of Personal Information
Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for purposes such as emergency contact, communication with relevant authorities (including embassies, medical institutions, and insurance companies), and other necessary administrative procedures.
Photographs or videos taken during the tour may be used on the Company’s website or social media platforms with the prior consent of the participants.
Cancellation Policy
After the reservation is fixed, cancellation policy is charged as following:
50% for 7days prior, 100% for 3 days prior
No Cancellation fee will be charged if you are unable to participate on a tour due to flight or ferry cancellations officially issued by an airline or ferry company.
